hi has anyone here had a sensory assessment with an occupational therapist and did you get help and support from this. thankyou
Yes, a sensory OT contacted me a little while after diagnosis because of my ADOS scores and we had 8 sessions together. I was meant to have about 12 but I had to go to hospital and had to suspend it. It was helpful to me and they sent me weekly emails which are really helpful to me now with learning especially how to ground/ calm myself. If you see one I advise you to be open with them. We did the Spiral sensory test which showed where my issue where. Good luck
