Was watching Casualty tonight and was taken by surprise when one of the characters (who I always thought of as autistic but it’s never been mentioned) was accused of being autistic by a manager and he gave both barrels in defence of autistic people and walked out.  Found myself tearing up in fact.

I wonder if they’re going to create an autism storyline as part of autism week.

    Maybe some of us who get down from time to time, should print it out and pin it up somewhere, to cheer us up.

    I'm like a dog with a bone with some tasks, so yes, I find giving up hard to do too (and if I do so, I feel defeated).

    All the points resonate, but 9 particularly so.

    I've only realised since my diagnosis that my long term memory is actually unusual in it's detail and clarity.
