Okay, the UK is in a hellish state after 13 years of ultra-Conservative rule. Constant recessions, cost of living crises, 13+ years of austerity, housing crisis, devastated communities Brexit, COVID and the catastrophic corruption of the Conservatives....So, despite this nightmare, let's look for positives. Amongst the corruption and incompetence, beyond the idiotic demagogue of the right-wing tabloids...
What upbeat music do you like? The Tories detest culture as it highlights their disgusting failures as a political party. I'm leading with this!!!
@wont get fooled again' by the who seems approiate. Don't get me started on politics.....
Agreed, sorry to see he's left. I hope he returns at some point.
Sorry to see that the OP has left. They made a valuable contribution to the forum imo.
We may have had Conservative rule, but we haven't had conservative rule. We don't have a conservative or right wing party in the uk. smh.
Or maybe my endless love https://youtu.be/hh01FKH8oIA lol. I give it 3 years under a labour goverment before we're invading some other country again.
I work in education as well. It's really stressful and difficult at times but such a rewarding career teaching.
Freddie was a living legend. Not afraid to take risks. Great singer, great man.
I love how he's still got the moustache in that video lol
Bravo BP!
'I want to break free' is hard to beat, but I'll think on it.
Just now I must go to work, in a school where, as in most, 'cultural' subjects are under threat, to the detriment of all.
What a nice idea for a thread. For me, just about anything by ABBA and I’m not ashamed to admit that!
maybe some good old fashioned labour anthems like things can only get better.

Because it's not like labour was ever right wing right? :P
And then this, given how right-wing ideologies blocked gay rights thorough the '80s. And Freddie Mercury was heroic in battling this.
