Friend requests

I suggest that you don't accept any friend requests until you have interacted with (or read the posts of) the person considerably  via the forum threads and feel they are trustworthy.

There is a good reason for me saying this which I can't disclose but it's nothing to do with myself.

I also suggest you don't leave your PMs open (via settings) for anyone to be able to PM you but set them to friends only if you want PMs.

Lastly, if you receive PMs that are unwelcome and then remove that person retrospectively from your friend list this doesn't stop them PMing you.

There is no blocking function.

  • I turned my private messages off when I first joined. I'm not the best at being social, as I'm sure many of you have noticed already. I find commenting stressful sometimes and I thought allowing private messages would add to the stress.
