Booked an assessment with Psychiatry UK

I booked an appointment for mid November but hoping I can bring this forward. I have already answered the questions on the form provided but waiting for my partner to fill out his form. I'm looking forward to it, and hope I can get some answers to my struggles whatever those answers maybe.

  • Hey PastelDawn

Well done on getting in booked in - mid November is pretty close by waiting list standards! Best to get your partner to complete and send their form asap so they have a chance to process it with your answers too.

I had my assessment with PUK in July and found them to be very professional. GOOD LUCK!

  • This is good to hear. I have my assessment next week and I'm terrified. I have no idea why.

    Good luck Former Member

  • I was diagnosed by Psychiatry UK in 2021 and the process was remarkably straightforward and non-threatening, though I was anxious at the start of the assessment. Based largely on the copious written history I provided in the questionnaires, the psychiatrist told me he was giving me a diagnosis of ASD about 20 minutes in. For the rest of the time we discussed my anxiety and OCD problems, and I received two additional diagnoses.
