Reporting concerning posts

Hi Online Community Users,

Recently there have been some discussions that break our be nice rule and we have had a number of complaints and abuse reports.

We are a small team that try to maintain the safe and supportive space on this forum for our users. We appreciate users have different opinions and try to allow discussion but it must consider other users and 'Be Nice'.

Before sending a comment, please consider if it is in the safe and supportive nature of the online community.

If you find a post that is concerning or breaks the rules, there are a couple of options. These are outlined in the 'Community FAQs' at the top of the page https://community.autism.org.uk/p/communityfaqs :

  • If another user is being abusive, please do report them by clicking the ‘more’ option below the comment. This will flag the comment for our moderation team.
  • Alternatively, if you’d like to report another user, please contact communitymanager@nas.org.uk with a link to the comment or a screenshot of the private message.

For a full list of our rules, please visit our rules page (also found at the top of your screen) https://community.autism.org.uk/p/rules

Posts that break rules may be deleted and users may be moderated or banned.

Kind regards,

The Moderation Team
