Here are some of mine, in no particular order (+ I haven't watched a film in years):
Ex Machina
Betty Blue
The Double Life of Veronique
Mona Lisa
Psycho
Don't Look Now
Elizabeth
The Three Colours Trilogy
Paris, Texas
Five Easy Pieces
Doctor Zhivago
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Life of Brian is one of my favourites, my sons and I can turn the sound off and mimic the characters and lines verbatim. George Harrison had to mortgage his house to fund the film, if it had flopped he would have lost his entire wealth of £4M. In the 70’s that was big money, it’s still bigger than anything I’m likely to ever see! My R.E teacher stood outside the local cinema with a placard, “ It’s a sin to go in.”
I don't watch a ton of films, but I guess my top 5 would be maybe
This Is The End
Lord of the Rings (Fellowship if just picking one)
Life of Brian
The Little Mermaid (original)
Dodgeball
I've only seen the first X Men film, always intended to watch them all but somehow haven't gotten round to it yet.
These are but a few, it’s too hard to choose. Some of the above I have watched more times than I can count.
You have great taste :)
These are mine, that I can think of!
Pirates of the Caribbean.
Harry Potter series.
The World's End.
Got Fuzz.
Jumanji (original).
James Bond series.
Disney (originals and new).
Ace Ventura.
Titanic.
Deadpool.
Shrek.
The Italian Job (original).
Jurassic Park/World series.
Paul.
The Orient Express (fave film of all time!) :)
The Green MileThe Lord of the Rings TrilogyA Knights TaleThe Italian Job (60's original)Jurassic Park 1 & 2LabyrinthFerngullyTerminator 2Muppet Treasure IslandHighlanderStar Trek: First ContactKinky BootsBatman Returns Road to Perdition
My favourite film is 28 Days (not the scary one, the one with Sandra Bullock).
I really liked Elizabeth!
I also like:
What We Do in the Shadows
The Mummy
Pirates of the Caribbean (especially Curse of the Black Pearl)
The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Muppet Treasure Island
Addams Family Values (and the other Addams Family films, but that one's my favourite)
Bill (the Shakespeare film the Horrible Histories/Ghosts cast made)
...bit of a theme here I think I just love a good costume!
What a great list. I have seen quite a lot of those and thumbs up from me.
Currently I can only really manage a PG... at push a 12A... and anything with Adam Driver.
