Do you use any of these?
The only one I consciously use is 'so' at the beginning of sentences.
1. Going forward
2. No disrespect, but…
3. 'like' as a filler
4. I wanted to reach out
5. I'm not gonna lie
6. Basically
7. Let's go offline
8. 'So' at the start of a sentence
9. The 'optics' of something
10. My bad
Does anyone say 'umm' a lot?
I think it's a natural thing for me where my brain freezes and can't figure out what to say.
95% of my convos are just umms XD
Yes, so often I forget the word I need mid sentence.
Yep that's me as well. Um is my go to word to really make a conversation worse.
For me it's "aha" sometimes "aha aha"
I say umm quite a lot, it’s worse if I have to use a telephone, I had someone actually point the fact out to me, bless them!
I used to say umm and err, and sometimes I still do but nowadays I also do an alternative when my brain is loading the next part of the sentence and do what I call a sneak preview of what me gone non-verbal looks like. XD It's like non-verbal but sample size.
um, no.
