Please add any that occur with you.
Thanks.
Just to recap:
1. Messages not working for some people.
2. IDs (such as mine) disappearing.
3. Posts not displaying fully (per the 'messages not working' thread)
4. My inability now to upload image files.
Where I used to be able to search for the file now I'm only given a URL option.
In fact, I just tested this. I can add an image file to this thread, but not to the 'messages' thread.
5. Generally posts going into moderation unnecessarily.
Hi online community users,
Thankyou for adding to this thread.
Could you please contact communitymanager@nas.org.uk directly with any IT issues please. We often need more information from you as individuals to rectify issues so please email directly.
Kind regards,
Clare Mod
None of my private messages are working.
Hello @Mark, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I will raise this and see how we can get this sorted.
Many thanks,
ChloeMod
When I look at the list of threads, it says the last response to a thread was 1 day ago, so I click on that thread to read new messages, and the latest response is actually 2 days ago and there's nothing new to read and it was a waste of time looking at it again.
It's OK again now, thanks.
It's working all right on my mobile have you contacted the forum staff?
I can only access the forum on my PC, not on my mobile phone.
I just get timed out.
Have been trying all day on my mobile but just got home so tried the PC.
I can't understand this.
Has anyone else got the same problem?
Thank you ^^
Hopefully they will have it sorted. At least the forum is fast again lol.
I just have. Not to worry. If it doesn't resolve itself in a week and allow you to message me in DMs then I'll drop you an alternative contact method in the DMs you can use in the mean time. :)
Hi
Just wanted to thank you for your message and to say I have tried to reply so many times but it isn't sending.
Even tagging you here isn't working!
Feel like the site admin is watching and chortling evilly lol XD
Hope you see this message though ^^
Something that annoys me is when I write a long post then use an emoji - the emoji suddenly multiplies 5+ times scattered throughout my message and it erases some of what I've written (as in the emojis replaces a couple of the letters I've written here and there, so even when I go to delete the extra emojis I have the added task of retyping the letters that have disappeared.) It doesn't seem to happen on short posts, only when I write a long paragraph and then decide to put an emoji at the end of it.
Hope this made sense but I think anyone who has experienced it will know exactly what I'm talking about
When I first joined NAS, my settings were to only accept messages from members I was friends with. Like you, I found that after accepting a friend request, the accompanying short message was nowhere to be found.
However, I then changed my settings to allow messages from anyone. What I found was that when I received friend requests with accompanying messages, I had no issues accessing those messages.
From my perspective, it's a design flaw that needs tweaking. If one's settings are to only allow messages from friends, it seems daft to include an option to send an accompanying message that the recipient won't receive in their 'inbox'.
Thanks for the email :)
I haven't emailed them about this but I will now.
Have you emailed NAS?
It's best to as they will try to get it sorted.
It's:

I am pretty sure that the problem you are having has come up before, and may be mentioned in this thread.
Some of my messages don't load at all, thought it was just my end like the internet speed.
And some pages people's posts are either blank or half there.
I'm with you... It's aliens they are amongst us XD
Ugh. I don't think I understand the question.
Doh.
When someone sends me a friend request they usually put a short message in it.
It come up on the screen with the 1st few words.
However, when I take the link in to accept it, the message has gone and is nowhere to be found.
Stolen by aliens most likely
Oh so you can see what I sent you but not reply?Or is that just the friend request tab not the DM tab?
Just thought I'd bump this.
I'm still not able to read the message in 'friend' requests which I think is quite a general thing.
I have read on this forum that others are not able to log in.
I'm still not able to do this, hence I've created a new ID.
I'm glad to see people are adding me in again as 'friends'
Maybe post here with any problems you have as at least then we know that it's a general thing.
NAS are looking into the logging in problem.
Hi Online Community users,
Thankyou for raising these issues.
We are aware of a technical issue affecting log ins at the moment. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
For all other issues, please contact communitymanager@nas.org.uk directly with screenshots of the issue where possible.
Oh really? That might explain why my post disappeared a week ago. I went back to look at it I had no notification or answers. Oh well, maybe it got deleted and has nothing to do with the forum technical issues
