I love 1940s fashions up to 1980s.
Everyone dressed up nice to go to town, in their own unique way, neat and did their hair all nice.
I would love it if things were like that again, and everyone was better behaved.

I love vintage fashion. A lot of fashion was so striking and beautiful. People seemed to have so much pride in their appearance. I wish the world was still like it.
That sounds great I will check that out thank you
Yes, would be nice for the best of that era to come back but with the equality of today,
As a queer woman I don't think I'd want to go back there socially, but I do like a lot of vintage fashion. There's stuff in every era that's good and it's always nice to bring those things to the time you're living in.
Yes, people didn't know they were living back then.
Nowadays, change is just for change's sake. Kids aren't properly brought up, and the parents of the troublemakers threaten legal action. Same with insurance, and claims.
That's awesome!
Flares came back, briefly, in 1993/94.
I have an original pair of flared jeans from the '70s, that I bought new. I can still get them on, they're not exactly comfortable, but I can get them on!
I love your name. I play cricket too. Do you bat or bowl?Btw I think going out in a trilby hat and vintage tie is awesome! More people should do that
I wish a lot of life was how it was back then. Less dependence on technology, more willingness to be happy with little things, simpler way of life, people less easily offended. How I would have loved it
On the topic of fashions, I love 70s fashions, especially the big collars. I have an original check shirt from the 1970s that I got on ebay with a huge collar
I agree. I wish people dressed in the older vintage styles from the 60s, 50s, 40s or 30s. Clothes then had a style all of its own. I'm in my twenties but dress in a vintage style - vintage trousers, green tweed jacket, trilby hat and vintage tie, except when I'm playing cricket of course!
The vintage stuff never gets old.
