Another reason for my lack of sleep.  I will accept ridicule.

I live in a rented flat and one whole wall in my bedroom is a fitted wardrobe that has floor to ceiling sliding doors which are mirrors.

I have been told that mirrors have magical properties which can a negative effects on one's sleep.  Two women have ( one Spanish, the other Russian)  independently told me that sleeping with mirrors is !!!!????.

Their reasoning is that medieval folklore is full of stories about mirrors, such as 'mirror mirror on the wall' etc.  And in many cultures when someone dies, mirrors are all covered in black clothes.

So the large mirrors are affecting my sleep.

Can you put bed sheets over the mirrors? You could also purchase sticky back paper coverings which can be removed quite easily when you move home.
