So, this woman, from the West Midlands, claims she is facing bankruptcy after losing £113,000 to a scammer she met on a dating site. The man, who claimed he lived nearby, told her he had gone abroad for an engineering contract in Ukraine and then convinced her he needed money.
Had a new phone put in once that must of been used before just got at least 2 phone calls a day from scammers ,loads of chat then just wanted bank details .used to wind them up just saying odd numbers ,asking which numbers ,etc . used to put curses on them sometimes really freaked them out . They target people they think are old or gullible .
