Hi all. I'm looking for blogs of women with autism that I can relate to. The only ones I find are happy and doing well no problems. Which is great but I want someone to relate to a little. I feel alone in my troubles if I'm honest. It's like I've woken up and seen my difficulties and I cant find anyone else the same.
Can anyone share any good sites, social media pages or blogs please?
I've struggled all my life with people taking advantage and only recently realised i may be autistic. I'm still piecing it all together.
Brilliant I shall take a peek
I like invisible I. Shes the only one i follow so far
Oh thank you I'll take a look
Thank you I will check them both out tonight
There's "invisible i" on YouTube. Youngish female, updates weekly
I'll check Twitter - I'm coming to his stuff now so a lot of his posts are over 2 years old... he's probably 'got it out of his system' to a degree by now!
Cynthia Kim's website is unfortunately no longer updated, I think her health is not good, but i found lots of great info there (and in her book)
https://musingsofanaspie.com/
Also https://www.spectrumwomen.com/ run by a group of Aussie women
Oh and https://autisticmama.com/ which is largely child focussed but not exclusively so as she is herself autistic as well has having an autistic son
Some of his blogs are quite angry, but some of the stuff he puts on twitter is quite funny to be honest, he was also really helpful when I commented on a post of his which I found really nice
The only caveat I'd put on Kieran Rose is that (to me) he seems really, really angry about everything... which makes his blog kind of tiring to read.
But maybe I've just been 'lucky' in the way the ND world has treated me...
Keiran rose, his blogs are really good, he did a live cast awhile ago with agony autie and Emma dalmayne was really interesting.
This guy has a lot of links to other bloggers & articles - many by ASD women, might take a bit of clicking through article but should be something there - https://www.theautisticadvocate.com/search?q=women
He links to Agony Autie for sure
I haven't read this one yet but it is by the sister of an autistic advocate Emma dalamayne who also has her own site that could probably point you in right direction

Also check out agony autie she is a vlogger who is openly honest about the days she struggles
