Hi,

Just got my diagnosis report, which reads that I 'meet the criteria for ASD.'

I was expecting a number from 1 to 4, as well, which, I think, gives a level of my impairment.

Was I right in expecting this, and/or would a care assessment put a number to it later on?

Hope my question makes sense.

    Hi, I hope it is a relief for you.  I think that a number(s) giving a level of impairment (relative to meeting basic needs, anxiety / depression, communication for safety etc) would be very useful, contrary to what many believe.  An adult that is mute, and incapable of seeing to their basic needs (feeding themselves) requires very different support to someone like myself who is impaired in a different way.

    did they give you anything else? A report / summary?
