Yes I'm sorry to say that if my house burnt down I'd save my dogs first! I know that sounds really bad but its true, and this is probably the only place I'd get away with saying it!

I'm also a nurse and love my patients but still if the worst happened I'd save my dogs, does this make me a terrible person?

    I am a Cat person so I'd make sure I saved the Cats first (I have two) I do have two adult Daughters (moved away)and despite being divorced, I still love my ex-wife very much so would probably bang on their doors to alert them if we somehow managed to be all under the same roof again.

    I do like dogs too, but they are less likely to disappear into some inaccessible corner to hide than a cat would be.

    If Cliff Richard and Boris Johnson were in that same building though............
