Anyone read this? A new book about the value of Quiet. Aspergers is surely an extreme form of Introversion, and this book argues that Introversion should be valued more by society. There is also an online quiz for Introversion - type name of book into Google for it to come up - and I scored as an extreme introvert.
Yes, I think 'Party of One' is a better book. I got 'The Quiet Revolution', but didn't get very far with it. I didn't think it was anything new, really. Susan Cain seems to be on a 'cult of personality' trip.
I'm a total introvert.
Hi
I just wanted to say I am in the process of reading it. Its good but I preferred "Party of One: The Loner's Manifesto" by Anneli Rufus.
I think I will need to reread it once I finish it but it does help spark new insights. Also because thanks to Therapy I already have decent self-esteem its not as life changing as it might be for someone who is struggling to come to terms with wanting to be alone and feeling overstimulated by going out in the big wide world.

I believe.
How do you get to this quiz?
I am sorry but your post really confused me Hope. Can you explain what you type in and what it is called more clearly please? Or, to make it easier send a link to it?
Quel surprise! I'm an introvert!! (as if I didn't know that before taking the test!)
Oh, and I too would have posted a link to Susan Cain's TEDTalk, had caretwo not got one in first!

It sounds very interesting and something I would interested in reading. Unfortunately not read it so far. Drowning in a see of books at the moment. When this batch has gone I will consider purchasing this. Let me/us know how it is if/when you read it?
