What makes you happy?
What brings you joy or gives you a little smile and cheers you up?
yeh loved reading it. this would be me. gaz
I'll be incredibly happy if I quit smoking by the end of the year, it's kinda my New Year Resolution. I'm already on the way, but it's really hard. I've been smoking for 6 years and now I'm vaping. My friends told me that they gave up smoking the same way, as vapes are less addictive and harmful. I order vapes now from https://vapingdaily.com/ and it really helps a lot. I haven't smoked cigarettes for about 3 months already.
Being beside the sea, in any weather, ideally on a nearly empty beach. Ice cream optional, but welcome.
Stream. River. OCEAN!!!
...Sorry, Please excuse me. (!)
I don't mind the no flushing toilet but I love water to drink, wash in and drink in. Can't wait to get my filtration system.
Happiness is water;
Clean water to drink.
Warm water to wash in.
And
A toilet that flushes.
Sigh indeed! I just floated off on a cloud :)
I have no idea what that is but I'm guessing it's something to do with the picture! Lol! But I might come back to you one day and ask you for some advice/support with stuff like that.
Thank goodness for Gimp!
WoW that’s brilliant, I love what you did and how the two pictures have a different feel to them even though it’s the same tree. I love both the pictures. I’ve done a little bit of art work online but I can see I’m going to be doing a whole lot more of it. I can’t stop looking at the tree! Lol!
Here's the original...
Haha loved watching these adverts!
Oh yeah, these moments in life are the best!
Sitting outside on a calm clear night, miles from civilisation,a small campfire, the odd sound of nighttime creatures, bats flitting around, glow flies shing bright, the sound of a trickling stream, the rustle of small creatures looking for food the smell of pine from nearby trees and snuggled up to a soulmate watching the stars and talking through the night about the real things in life,
feeling at one with nature, free, content and with no expectations from others........sigh.
(x),,,,,,
I move around the uk a lot and I go abroad but this time I'll be living in a van or camper van which is possible with a cat but not as easy as with a dog.
I found it, thanks
Go to the forum group you want - Autistic Adults, Health and Wellbeing, etc - and you should see a button for 'New Thread'.
Lots of things. Always changing always different.
But I especially like it when I can have intelligent conversation with NT people... Especially when they listen to me. I think I more influence over younger people than older. The saying goes 'can't teach an old dog new tricks' is very true. I love science and logic, hate celebrities chit/chat and other unimportant things. Can't understand why people avoid politics and economics when it's the most important topic because it actually affects them. No wonder this world is fucked, it's full of people that care more about the sillyshit.....
BTW how do I post a new thread?
I'm new, on a phone and can't see the option.
I'd love a kitten as well but I've got to consider the future. I won't always be in one place and it'll be more difficult to take a cat with me.
That's interesting. I chose a cat for the same reason. Fairly independent, easier to look after, less demanding, and easier to take away with me. It depends on where you're thinking of going, I suppose.
Yeah, I follow the 12 steps. I got two plants probably about a year ago and they're positively thriving so the next step will be the dog. I'd love a kitten as well but I've got to consider the future. I won't always be in one place and it'll be more difficult to take a cat with me. I've never really thought about having a pet as a companion before. I've never really thought about having anyone as a companion I don't think, other than because I thought that's what you do. So it's a lovely surprise to be thinking of a dog in this way and already it's motivating me. I know I've got a while to go and that's perfectly alright, it gives me more time to feel excited about its arrival and as you know, when you start living in your true zen state, time doesn't come into it.
You can never have a better life than the one you have now. Sure, you can have more home comforts or more exciting trips or whatever, but all of those things are just things in our life, they are not and never will be our life. They come and go, like the tide. The trick is to be perfectly happy now and the great thing is, when that happens, all that we ever want, comes to us, we don't have to go and get it. Life is constantly expressing itself, that means it is always giving, we are all always giving and in our giving, we receive. As you know, we only keep what we have by giving it away. It's the way of the world.
