Held Health -Can't contact them-

Hi all,

I have recently used my 'Right ro use' option  to ask my daughters GP to refer her to Held Health for an autism assesment. I chose them because they apparently have a 2-12 week wait for assesment, unlike her current provider, whose wait list is four years, ( and we have already been on their waiting list for two years).

I have sent all the required forms to Held Health over a month ago and my daughters school have confirmed they have done the same. However, I have been trying to contact Held Health (Exeter) to check they now have all required paperwork, and that I am now just waiting for an appointment, but I am finding it impossible to get hold of them.

I have called and left telephone messages, emailed and sent in a contact form, and they have not replied to any of my messages since I first tried to contact them two weeks ago.  Has anyone else had any experience of this with Held Health? I had been recommended them by someone who said they are very efficent and quick, but their lack of communication is concerning and makes me doubt them. As they are a private provider, I'm worried that I may wait several months and then find they are no longer in business or something and will have to start the process all over again.

    No problem. Yes they offered me three video appointments. One for just parents, the second for just the child and a third for the feedback appointment that both child and parents attend. Hope you get yours through soon. X

    Sorry one last thing is it telephone appointments or face to face, I'm hoping they offer telephone as im 3 and half hours away x

    Hi, Beckyleigh12, just to let you know, I have been contacted by Held Health this week and offered an appointment for my daughter in December, so it wasnt such a long wait after all.

    Interestingly, I had to email them to change the date of one of the appointments they offered me, and I got a reply the same day. I sent the email to the same generic email they have listed on their website, so they are obviously filtering emails and only replying to urgent ones.  Fingers crossed you should hear back soon too.     Oh that's so long winded, im going to flag this email so i can come back at the start of the year to see if you had any better communication, bad really we should definitely have human contact atleast just a email to let us know forms were all received, thanks for your help x

    I didnt get a email saying my forms were completed, pending or received,  I didnt actually hear anyting from them from the time I completed the forms until now, when I got the email yesterday.saying my daughter is going to be offered an appointment within 18 weeks. I think it is just a waiting game.

     this is what the bottom of my email said but all 4 forms have been sent back, did yours all say completed once you done them back in September?

    Oh blimey, iv only just sent my paperwork in so hopefully i get the same message as you, i did check online and says they use an ai system for emails and calls yet when i filled out the 3 forms i got an email to say registration one is completed and outcome is completed but the actual detail one says pending but was all sent the same day so its confusing because says they will not offer an appointment until all forms are completed so i wanted them to look on the system but dont look like il get through so considering filling the form out again, do you have a email address i can stay in contact with you to see if you do end up hearing from them? Things like this are so annoying aswel because your just stuck, did u get a email for all your forms once u completed all of them or did yours say pending to? Xx

    Hi, they never replied to any of my emails or phone calls and I just gave up trying to message them in the end.

    However yesterday, I got an email saying my daughter’s paperwork has been assessed now and that we will be offered an appointment within 18 weeks of when they received all the relevent forms, which was the 4th September. They have said not to contact them during the wait period and there was no mention of me having tried to contact them previously in the email I received from them. It was just a generic email really.
    You may just have to wait for them to contact you I’m afraid, it’s very frustrating isn’t it. I hope you hear something soon x

  •    hi did you hear back from them? Im currently waiting for the same people to also cant get hold of them, yet my forms say pending but they arent because i sent them all off so wondering if youv heard from them yet x
