Hi,

I was just wondering has anyone been accepted by caudwell children for an autsim assessment and not received a diagnosis ? Does anyone know if they go though the information provided and base it on if you're likely to get a diagnosis or not when accepting you? Anyone have any thoughts postive / negative on the experience? Many thanks one anxious over thinking momma

    Whilst I don't have any experience of that provider, there's a wealth of information in the NAS's diagnosis hub that you might find helpful as you progress through the diagnostic process.

    Perhaps one of the most relevant articles at the moment is:

    However, there's also a lot more information that might help to settle your nerves, including information about:

    • The criteria and tools used in assessments
    • What happens during an autism assessment
    • Which professionals will be involved
