I love vegetables too, especially green veg, one of my favourites are kallets, aka sprout flowers, they're a hybrid of sprouts and kale and have that lovely iron tang. I love artichokes too, both fartichokes and the globe ones, a lovely slippery aubergene cooked in olive oil, roasted red peppers, roast parsnips, the buttery crunch of a good lettuce, tomatoes with plenty of salt and pepper or iin a honey and mustard dressing.
Raspberries are a prime example - sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are horribly tart.
I find quite a lot of supermarket fruits too tart. They seem to go from unripe to overripe quite quickly.
I like most forms of potato. I usually default to a jacket because it's easy. I'm quite good at meat but prefer red meat. I prefer fattier cuts of meat. I don't like sauce at all. I have a very sweet tooth and love chocolate and other sugary treats. I am ok with fruit but I struggle with some because they are so unpredictable. Raspberries are a prime example - sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are horribly tart. I eat bread and crackers, usually just with butter. I will eat with cheese if the cheese is melted. Love things like pancakes and Yorkshire puddings. I don't think I have the healthiest taste buds ever.
Chips or potatoes in any form. I particularly love chips from a fish and chip shop or skin on fries from Aldi are a close second. All fruits and most veggies. I love fresh white bread with a crust that is crispy. I love homemade cakes
From Sainsbury's frozen section: Sweet & sour chicken with egg fried rice, Bisto cottage pie, cod fish fingers, oven fries, potato wedges, cheesy garlic bread slices, and honey roast parsnips & Aunt Bessie's mini roasties to go with the chicken breast and chicken gravy.
Why? They taste nice, don't upset my stomach and don't take much preparation.
That's my sort of roast dinner in hot weather too! I sometimes have ready-cooked to make Christmas dinner; I'm not very good at cooking meats.
Unfortunately for my figure, I enjoy most things except slabs of meat or offal. When it's hot, I mostly go for something 'on toast', crackers and cheese, sandwiches or jacket with.. Also, I enjoy a glass of lager and lime with ice, but only one or I can't sleep. My go to drink is a large glass of lime cordial and carbonated water with lots of ice. Sometimes I find it too hot to eat.
I like to eat:
Muesli, coco pops, natural yogurt with a teaspoon of jam, wholemeal bread sandwiches filled with tuna mayo, ham & cheese, ham & pickle or peanut butter, dark chocolate, prawn cocktail crisps, oaty cereal bars, peach fruit pots.
Favourite cakes: Belgian buns, cream & jam donuts, pain au chocolat
From Sainsbury's chilled section: Lasagne, Ravioli, roast chicken breasts

Spagbol and pasta and pesto.
Indian food, I love dhal and rice
Humous, felafel
Most spicy food
Chocolate
Mashed potato, done properly
Lots of veg, except those listed on the dont' like thread.
Bisto, gravy just a Mum made it!
I love things like toad n the hole with lots of veg and gravy, but I also love Italian food as well as Indian and Middle Eastern foods, I love courgettes, aubergenes, okra.
Bread, proper bread, not supermarket stuff
Fried or poached eggs.
Cheese, bread, beige carbs.
Veg = potatoes or others mashed or in cheese sauce.
Tinned baked beans.
Fruit = bananas and raspberries.
Smooth raspberry or black cherry yoghurt.
Soft food is best because of poor food motility.
Although I like veggie curry I mainly avoid it due to digestive problems.
I have problems eating and if I eat a mouthful of something, my tummy bloats for hours.
I watch videos of people doing ASMR mukbangs on YouTube to try and get an appetite, but I just feel full all the time on an empty stomach. The videos make we want to eat, just for the flavour. I fried some chicken portions with a crispy batter and tried to eat it like I saw in the videos.
I could only manage half a chicken breast, as my stomach bloated like I had eaten a whole chicken! I can't eat properly like other people. I try to get as much protein in as I can so I don't start wasting away.
My favourite food is traditional Texas style smoked BBQ and traditional Jamaican smoked jerk chicken. I'm not Jamaican, but I love their food. I wish I could eat food like everyone else.
