Yes this sounds good to me, I've always loved the idea of creating a nature reserve, especially if I could create wildlife corridors to help connect up existing places so wildlife to get around more easily. With some marine reserves too.

It would be too much for me to look after, so creating jobs for others to look after it, and opportunities for young people to get skills in nature would be a benefit.

I'd be happy with moggies.

Yeah, but god forbid when you pass, the tyrants will still exist. The rain will still fall. Nothing will change. All you have is a short time to spend. It's not sefish to indulge in idealism if you're not hurting anyone else.

When you're on your deathbed, you might see what I'm talking about, but it will be too late (hypothetical of course) :)

EDIT, Actually, after re reading your reply, you have no need to do so. What you would wish to do is what you want. Sorry for suggesting otherwise.

But why would you waste your last years on politics? You could just shut all that out. You have money to what you want. 

Maybe a nice property in the Florida Keys? You could go fishing everyday and BBQ your catch. The world would be your oyster!

I would be very tempted to do something about the truly awful politicians and billionaires causing so much societal damage at the moment, but this is not really the place to discuss the details.

Since there is nobody to cause problems for around me and I have not that many years ahead of me, should something happen to me then the consequences would be mine alone.

I would love this. I would have a large conservatory to put all my tropical plants in. To start with, I would get another Bengal and a Ragdoll, a Maine Coon, a Blue Point Birman and an Abyssinian.

Buy a house with land to rewild and create an animal sanctuary.
