What are the TV shows you watch when you're feeling down and you don't feel like trying something new? What are your go to favourites?
I often like to stick on The Simpsons, Dragon Ball, Spongebob Squarepants, South Park and Rick and Morty

I quite lie those too, not as much as the original though.
If you can get hold of it still, Boston Legal is worth a watch, it's brilliantly funny sharp and ridiculous, William Shatner and James Spader are brilliant as best friends and sparring partners.
For purely comfort reasons, rather than interest in the narrative, I really like the repetition that multi-series American shows can offer. I’m watching This is Us at the moment for that reason - not the best show ever, but even the intro makes me feel calm when sensory overload and other autism-related challenges are wearing me out
I was in Martha’s cafe yesterday from ‘Beyond Paradise,’I’ve never eaten a cake with real flowers on it, the coffee is the best I have found.
Property programs, like Kirsty and Phil love or list it, or location.
I always look forward to things like Bake Off and Sewing Bee.
To get away from football and tennis we've been watching the first series of Death in Paradise, its just pure brain custard
I watch The Repair Shop, it restores my faith in mankind that not everyone is horrible. The stories behind the objects are heartwarming and the technical skills in restoring them are good to watch, the precision and accuracy ticks a lot of boxes.
Yes and Henning.
Especially when it comes to Bob Mortimer!
WWE from years 2001-2007, or TNA years 2004 to 2006, a few dud shows but most PPVs were really great in that time. This also extends to WWE NXT from years 2014-2016, I'd say the first few NXT PPVs are my main comfort shows. Classic DBZ, Sailor Moon and Pokemon also fall into that. Pokemon and Sailor Moon is what I always fall back on after mental breakdowns (which is why I made a pokemon thread on here with a Sailor Venus profile pic lol)
The sopranos! Definitely not the most relaxing it can be stressful in parts, but it is always easy to follow along. I also like adventure time because it is nostalgic and a lot of fun
I like 'Would I lie to you' Some of the stories are so funny and some of them are true.
Best to watch are nature documentaries, as I know they will be good and satisfying. We also sometimes have a bit of brainless TV for when I'm finished work and don't want anything too much, which tends to be comedy like Taskmaster (though I dislike Alex Horne), Would I Lie to You, or Have I got News for You.
If it's anything tense or unknown I need to have energy for, so has to wait for the right frame of mind.
Morse, Sherlock Holmes [Jeremy Brett version], Antiques Roadshow, Repair Shop [very positive show], DIY SOS, Counryfile
