How is £6 unreasonable to them?

Here, bus fares are £3 each due to the Starmer cap. Day savers are well over £6. The only exceptions are some very popular routes and some obscure routes.

Ages ago, I used to get moaned at Action 4 Employment as my train fare was different each time. They had to do another calm form when my train fare went up by 10p. Absolutely ridiculous. The provider closed down. 

One voluntary place I had to keep hold of the train tickets, put in a claim expenses form and they would put the amount in my bank account. Seems strange. I ended up leaving due to having an accident and the setup was a shambles.

Princes Trust was absolutely fine as they photocopied my bus ticket and refunded me the whole thing. 

How do they sleep at night?

I may not have a leg to stand on if I complain because according to their website they pay 'Reasonable expenses'.  And a £6 return bus fare may be considered unreasonable by them.  Although it is the real cost.  I remember an MP saying that the unemployed should be able to feed themselves for 20p per meal.
