overwhelmed & underwhelmed ( O & U )



So I went out earlier today, looking for penguins and hippos Wink after being inspired by   but clearly they were all sleeping in.   (Joking)

In case anyone wonders, the two items you can see in the water are buoys / navigational aids  (they aren't penguins unfortunately  Upside down) 

Still no luck re ice-cream.  Not that I really tried.  The kiosk's weren't open that early in any case.

I hope everyone's had a nice day in the sun - or managed to bear the heat if you really don't like it.

  • It looks beautifully calm and peaceful. At first glance I thought it was a shark or the English equivalent of the Loch Ness monster in the sea.

    It was just weirdly atmospheric in the morning.  You know when the sea mist hasn't quite cleared yet, and anything strange on the surface can be more easily confused for something else.  Hence the penguin comment - or indeed Nessie !!
