All things Marvel and D.C.

OK, so I'm in my 50s, but this did spin off from the - I feel like not fully grown up/mature - thread.

I love the Marvel films. (I also love the D.C. films)

I've loved Marvel's Spider-man since I was a little boy. I've loved D.C.s Batman for a long time too.

Even though interest is waning in the world, I love the whole shared universe across dozens of films.

I love all the TV shows and spin-offs and am not a negative fan-boy who just likes to slag off any 'wokeness'.

I just enjoy them as entertainment, and think that they do a very good job.

Your turn  (and maybe even  who is probably long-gone, but popped up as a suggestion)

  • I love the MCU, too. I read the comics as I boy (I'm around your age) and have loved watching the interconnected stories grow. I'm not suffering the Marvel fatigue that others seem to be. Keep bringing them on!

  • Me too. Currently trying to watch "What If?" in the tiny amount of free time I have over the holidays.

The trailer for Superman got me excited about it. I hope it goes more family friendly and fun. My inner boy cheered when I saw Krypto who I've not seen since the Superboy cartoon that was on TV when I was a kid.

  • I've been watching What If? over the holidays. They're a lot of fun and I love that they're mostly voiced by original cast members. I loved Agatha All Along recently.

I have to say I've become frustrated with the DCU movies. They're a mess. Warner can't seem to figure out what direction they want to go in. The Snyder movies were hit and miss but Ben Affleck turned out to be my favorite Batman and I thought Henry Cavill was a good Superman. Then they ditched the whole thing.
