Why do so many threads seem to disappear? There's a flurry of activity then I come back the next day and they're gone, I've gone back several pages and they're not there, they don't seem to be contravercial in any way, just normal threads and many that are interesting.
We've had some robust debates on here in the last fortnight. It could be related to that. Closing threads rather than allowing arguments to continue. All forum moderators do that.
I don't think so as it's been happening for a number of weeks not days, I would of thought if it were to do with a new forum it wouldn't be until after the switch date?
It could be related to the switchover to the new forum.
I went back 14 pages and never found what I was looking for

Was it this one?

Thanks for mentioning this. I too have found this. I was coming back to a thread I read earlier and it's now gone.
I don't think any of the threads have been contravercial, there was on the other day on conspiracy theories and stuff that I was enjoying and thats disapeared, there not even anything to say this thread is now closed which usually happens when moderators get involved. This morning I came on the site and everything seemed to be gone, a new bunch of threads, but no sign of the previous ones even several pages back?
The moderators are just deleating anything remotly controversial. If they keep it up they risk killing the forum.
yep they're still disappearing
Pooter. Love it!
I use a pooter, I'm tied to my desk! I've tried to bookmark stuff, but then I can't find it, bookmarks disapear the most. But unless I bookmarked every conversation I had it would be impossible for some not to be lost, I don't think that most of them are removed or anything they just disapear.
Maybe the user decided to delete it or it was reported as spam/abuse because some people have nothing better to do.
I don't know if you access on a phone or computer, but you could see if you can save a page as a bookmark in the browser that you use. I understand that you are not technical from your other post, so I am sorry if this isn't an option.
