In the current cold snap I thought I would start a thread for winter photos.
Feel free to post your photos, anything wintery with snow and ice counts. It doesn't need to have been taken this year.
I'll start with a few of mine from my walk yesterday. The snow where I am is just a light dusting but it looked so beautiful in the sunshine yesterday. The temperatures are dropping very low overnight, so I think the snow will be lingering for a good few days yet.

Unfortunately, we haven't had any for years here probably due to global warming.

They are in a line flocked together because it makes them feel safer.
