You are welcome!
Thank you will check these out :)
i dunno, luffy might be more adhd... the dude is the classic main anime guy that wants to be friends with everyone and super social, just overactive and hyperactive so id say more adhd....... maybe some sort of ocd as he has a compulsion to eat any food he sees all the time
batman, its about this rich guy who has a hyperfixation on bats and martial arts and spends alot of his time isolated in his hidden cave from the rest of society. he masks as bruce wayne to fit into society.. but batman is his true self. he tinkers and likes engineering stuff and has all sorts of gadgets.
one piece, because you know luffy what luffys like haha!
The Chris Packham series was brilliant. He’s also made some YouTube videos about university life which I really identified with.
The Chris Packham two parter was good, Inside Our Autistic Minds.
Oh yes that was great! Thanks for recommending, I forgot about it!

I enjoyed the BBC adaptation of the Book ‘A Kind of Spark’, the author is autistic, the main characters are autistic and the actors are also autistic!
The series is aimed at teenagers but I thoroughly enjoyed it, a second series has just been commissioned. Should still be on iplayer.
A book I really enjoyed is ‘Strong Female Character’ by Fern Brady, just a warning, she leaves nothing out of her younger life.
The Reason I Jump is a brilliant film about non speaking autistics! It makes me so proud to be autistic!

Thank you for that, she does sound interesting! I'll definitely check her out! :)
Not a popular choice these days, but as a 50 something, late 'diagnosed' man, I found the lectures and insights proffered by Temple Grandin, to be very instructive and enlightening. I slightly fell in love with her "no nonsense" attitude and balanced perspective (as I see it) on allowing yourself to be who you are, whilst not denying the rights and sensibilities of the majority "normie" folks in our civilisation.
So that's one recommendation, to get you started.
