I just finished some warm weetabix. I don't really like breakfast makes me feel fat for the rest of the morning but it's insisted I have it. What have you guys had?

Yay! Finally someone like me who eats non typical food in morning! I also like this
I grew up eating cake or biscuits for breakfast with coffee but as I grew older I realised this was making my ibs worse and maybe it is not the healthiest. I started having joghurt and fruit but joghurt also wasn’t good for ibs and I really struggled to eat anything other than fruit for breakfast. I don’t really like traditional breakfast foods. Years later my dietitian got me started on eggs or tofu on toast for breakfast.but it got repetitive.
So I have decided that nonbreakfast foods for breakfast are amazing-this morning was one of my favourites- tortellini with tomato sauce. Day before chicken pad thai. I do still make scrambled eggs for breakfast sometimes.
I struggled with being underweight and easily loosing weight for years now but I am finally in good shape and this time I think it will last as my ibs is tolerable too. I think just letting myself have no breakfast foods in morning really helped
You can’t eat yourself! Funny!
I can be reasonably consistent with the oats I have, though it is tricky to add just enough milk and not too much. It is more the variation between each bag of oats, with some being just how I like them and some being just wrong all the way down, although some I think will be the latter do improve toward the bottom.
I do have an unusual preference for how I like my porridge though. I don't like the oats too coarse, and I microwave it with as little milk as possible so it is a solid wodge I can slice, then add cold milk! If the oats are too coarse then they don't stick together, they have no integrity and just fall apart so it can't be sliced and it makes me sad as that is not the texture I like best. I do also like sticky porridge but I think that can only be made on the hob and that is too much faff for me.
The too coarse oats also don't get soft enough when I have them as muesli though, so really I wish i could just buy oats of my preferred sort.
When things are okay, I have a bowl of cereal that's half supermarket-brand shreddies and half granola with oat milk.
When things are not so great, that might turn into just shreddies, shreddies with one weetabix, just two weetabix or just one weetabix. And if things are worse than one weetabix, I get dragged to the hospital.
Leftovers, in this case a vegetarian bol mostly made up of red lentils, tomatoes and quinoa with some other veg like carrots in it.
I drink water when I wake up, and have a coffee in bed. Then I had my lovely porridge which has dried fruit and spices in. When the weather gets too hot for porridge I stop cooking it and have it as sort of muesli. I like my breakfast! But sometimes the oats have a better texture than others, it is annoying not to be able to get oats consistently at the texture I prefer.
Toast and marmalade. Oh, marmalade has run out. Tea and lightly buttered toast then.
Weetabix- haven’t had that in a while. Remember those vaguely threatening thuggish weetabix ads from the 80s (you might be too young to remember): ‘if you know what’s good for you… weetabix’
‘Ok ok I’m eating it, just don’t hit me’
