I have cracked the NT CODE !

I have a close friend who is an NT, she is not a group animal but very much her own person, which is why we are friends. We were once discussing the difference between NTs and neurotypicals, and she said that she just instinctively knows when to stay out of trouble. She doesn't lie or people-please, but she does distance herself from people/keep her mouth shut if she thinks she'll get into trouble.

Yep, where they feed each other's false egos. I deactivated Facebook for that reason, it was just annoying me so much. I recently spoke to an NT friend about my aversion for Facebook, and they totally didn't get it... they said "but that's just social networking, it's what people do"

Facebook is their new church.   Totally shallow, fake and status driven.

It's true, I learned that the hard way! I also think that the convenience of being accepted by the group is more important to NTs than true friendship. I am not even sure if they are capable of true friendship - their conversations are so shallow, and it seems to me like they are performing in front of each other.

If you lost friends because of others, those people were not your friends - they were just more NTs who maybe hadn't finished using you yet..

Real friends make their own judgements.

Yeah, from my observations of NTs, they seem to move in groups where predators rule over prey, and the prey just agrees with the predators. 

I have lost so-called "friends" (NT prey) who didn't have anything against me, but distanced themselves from me purely because the whole group collectively shunned me. 

Apex predators - fighting is a risk to survival - so they measure everyone they meet as threat or target - if you are the same, behave the same, look the same, similar values = friend - no need to fight.

Anyone different = target - Attack!

In my opinion, the NT code is, they just go along with what everyone else considers normal, and don't question norms. If anyone doesn't fit into the norm or dares to question norms, then they get shunned and called a psycho.

BTW psychopathy is an outdated term.

"Normal" is usually a reference to what is most commonplace. A case of majority rules. What if NT is not actually what is intended to be normal, instead just simply what is the majority? Just a random thought.

Pretty much. 

Does NT also cover sociopaths, narcissists and psychopaths. This is the bit i find confusing what is excepted as normal. 

We have just got back from a holiday at Primrose Valley Holiday Park, which is run by Haven Holidays. Our little boy is only 4 yrs old & Autistic with severe learning difficulties. We explained to the staff about how Isaac reacts a lot differently yo certain situations. The staff were very understanding of his behaviour & let him do everything in his own time & at his own pace. The fairground staff were amazing & did not rush him on or off the rides at anytime, & sometimes he did take quite a while to come off of some of the rides, but they never once minded & also made people wait until Isaac was clear of the rides. So on that note i would strongly advice anyone going away for a caravan break to use Haven Holidays Primrose Valley in Filley as they really did go the extra mile with us as a family unit.10/10
