Hello I was just wondering what everyone's doing this year? Anything special, like a wedding, or are you just relaxing this year and having a quiet one?
I'm not going to very busy really. I'm a bit low at the moment and as a result can't work or really do much else, however hoping to get back on my feet in a few months time. Other than that I'm focusing on writing and continuing to collect more exciting vintage items. Last thing I got which was on my birthday was a cute little jewellery box which had a little girl sat on it I love it. I want to get some more dolls as well if I can.
Hope everyone is having a lovely 2020 so far.
Are you meeting with other Joy Division fans?
I'm aiming to decorate the bathroom and on a personal level, to get my mojo back at work, and stop self harming and self sabotaging. OK that's a bit ambitious. Less self harm and sabotage. And do my tax return on time. Less head in the sand stuff.
I'm heading to Manchester and Macclesfield in May to mark the fortieth anniversary of Ian Curtis' suicide. There's an autism centre in Macclesfield, which I may pop into while I'm there.
Very kind of you, thank you.
It's great to see others who like writing books here. I have done most of what I like doing but the books are the big problem since I constantly get writers block .
It is still sad to see your get so low, but I am happy to see that you're getting the help that you need. Just keep looking up and you'll be good.

Thanks
Aww wow big congratulations to your daughter on her birthday and graduation!!
And huge congratulations to you on your 30th wedding anniversary!!
It's a big year for us - our daughter turns 21, it's her graduation later this year and it'll be our 30th wedding anniversary.
Sounds like a great year for you! . I like writing books as well. I hope you get to do everything you want to this year! Sounds like a really busy but good one for you.
I allowed myself to get too low sadly but I'm receiving specialist help now which is awesome. Means staying at a special hospital but it's helping so I don't mind. I've been making great progress so hopefully now the only way is up! .
Thank you, I hope so too .
Aw well I hope this year you do make a friend or two. And try not to think of the past years... This year will be different. Be positive! If it helps I can be your online friend. Just message me anytime you want to talk or vent off. Always here .
I'm aiming for a relaxing year filled with work, friends, writing multiple books and streaming with friends and family.
It is sad to see that you're at a bit of a low point currently, just keep your head up and keep going forward, even if you need to move back a few steps.
Good question! It's good that you have a hobby too and I hope that it keeps you occupied and brings you enjoyment this year and onwards.
Well I'm going to try and make one or two friends, though I seem to say the same thing every year in the recent past!
It's fine to ask. It's someone i'm chatting to on another website. Not much chance of it evolving into anything long term but a weekend would do me. Beggars can't be choosers. haha
Thankyou :)
Who's the lady if you dont mind me asking?
I think this is all really good for you to try and do. Like you said, small steps first and perhaps they’ll become bigger steps as time goes by. I’m sorting out my mental health also, so best of luck to you there. Think positive, you can do it. Good idea on trying to read less news. The news is very depressing and often leaves me feeling like ‘what’s the point in going on’. I hope you can do all you want to :) I’ll keep you in my thoughts as you try and do all of this.
I am going to accomplish some very basic stuff. See a GP. If i can do that a lady i know wants to meet me in London in April. I need to get on top of my Mental and Physical health issues. Take small steps and evolve from there. I need to read and be absorbed by less news. A broad life is a struggle for an ASD person because you just get obsessed by your interests, I need to be less focused and try and broaden my thinking out, so i have a broader, happier life.
