Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but;
There's now an Ian Curtis Mural at Port Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
I like the Hammond organ sound as well. A lot of stuff is from the 1960s The Animals, The Monkees, The Doors etc.
This is one of my favourites just now:

Music is a pretty big part of my life. I listen to a metal bands with dark, poetic lyrics, and it inspires me artistically. Every time I listen to a song, I go into a daydream about ideas for stories and drawings. It's a huge help for me creatively. Right now, I'm obsessed with the song Pisces from a band called Jinjer. Been listening to it on repeat all day and haven't grown tired of it.

Thanks to looking about him on DuckDuckGo, I discovered that Fandom has its own Wiki for John Peel.
I find that music helps me to relax no matter how stressed I am. I like everything from Progressive Rock to Folk to Black Metal and will be attending Bloodstock Festival next year which I am looking forward to :)
Don't forget the right turn at Lajola. ;)
There are a wholeload of lockdown special events online right now, A entire concert by Nick Cave in an empty concert hall that the Independent labelled as probably the future of concerts, for instance. But we'd have to pay for that., right now.
Here's a Youtube site instead.. Another one in the Cale orbit, I'm afraid. I got over the squeaky doors decades ago.
Sadly since friend of mine use some WD40 on the doors they have been rather quite.
Yes, it does. I listen to music for an hour each morning before I get up. I don't like getting up as soon as I wake up so this helps. I also use music to drown out unwanted noise. I call it music therapy. It's helping with the fireworks.
