Hi, I just recently had the ADOS assessment a few days ago. Something really weird happened to me during it and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like it.
During the break in the middle (when the assessors were writing in their notes) I became fixated with a clock in the room. I went into some kind of OCD 'seizure' over it. My head kept involuntarily turning round looking for a clock (because my brain decided it was on the wrong wall). At one point, my eyes were rolling back in my head.
I've never experienced anything like it in my life.
Anyone had anything similar happen?
I have, on rare occasions, had the disorientating feeling that everything has undergone a 180 degree shift. All that should be on the right is on the left and vice versa.
Stress can play strange tricks with your mind. All the best with your assessment, Graham.
