The dreaded day approaches

The day where I have to do all the migration to UC from ESA, I know I posted on it before and Bunny gave me some places to go for advice, but I can't find the thread.

Yesterday I looked at all the stuff for it on the government website and it looked really scary. Is there an actual physical form or is it all online? Do you get a chance to save it and go back to it? I'm reluctant to ask the CAB for help as the last couple of times I've had contact with them have been very negative, punishing and extremely NT.

My only consolation is that I can procrastinate as the forms not sue until the end of the month, but I know I've got to screw myself up to do this.

  • I have no advice really but I just wanted to send you words of solidarity and support. The system is designed to intimidate us. Sadly we have no choice really but to engage with it. In my experience putting it off only makes it worse - deal with it as soon as you can to get it over with. Do whatever you can to take care of yourself while you are forced to engage with this incredibly hostile and toxic process. We are more than this - try to not let it diminish you.     I need to time it with when my benefit lands in my bank account, so as hopefully I don't have to long between one ending and the other starting, I also didn't want to do it earlier as I've just had my car's MOT and I knew it would need some work doing to it.

    I will contact the place Bunny mentioned for help. I looked and all I could find was the CAB, I don't understand how others get results on searches that I don't?
