I was surprised that there wasn't at least ONE who had a major success story to tell.
As an amateur I've sucessfully helped 2 people completely out of "psychological crisis" and into markedly different and visibly better lives than they were experiencing before my intervention, but I had more than a one hour session every six months in which to influence my people, of course. I've also been helped myself by the school psychologist when I was young, but if someone is really going to help you get yerself unscrewed, they need more than an hour a month of appointment time. That in turn means that they need to be paid A LOT less per hour.
