I'm "TheDog", and I am a low-support-needs Autistic Adult from the United States.

I would like to talk to others who are like me, and get support. I'd also like to make some friends along the way!

Some fun facts about me:

  1. My favorite color is orange! I like all shades of orange, but my favorite shade is the one that's the color of a Reese's Cup package.
  2. My favorite kind of music is "stoner rock".
  3. My favorite video game is Katamari Damacy. 
  4. My main hobbies are writing and sewing! I've completed 30+ journals, and like to sew by hand (i dislike the sound of sewing machines).
  5. I am 23 years old.
  6. My favorite animals are Capybaras and Rockhopper Penguins.

  • Hello, nice to meet you! I am from the Uk, what part of America are you from? I love penguins, we actually live near a zoo that has a colony of rockhoppers and we go and see them most weeks.

    Hi there!

    I use everything in journaling! If something looks cool, I put it in my journal. I've found cigarette cartons and taped them in my journal, I've also cleaned candy wrappers and taped them in my journal. Anything that looks cool, I put in there!

    I have plenty of stickers in my journal as well! Any stickers i find, i put in! One shop I visit gives out free stickers and i put them in my journal every time i get one.

    Something else i do, is whenever there's an entry i never want to see again-- I cover it up with something i like, usually pictures of my friends or pets. This keeps me from tearing out pages and ruining the journals binding as a result.

    My favourite music is British 70s & 80s stuff. My favourite animals are cats. I also sew by hand - but only when I need to, like mending or taking up too-long trousers (pants to you!)

    I’m very much interested in the ancient aliens theory, there are many ancient stories that can be explained that way, that humans had encounters with ETs. Everything started with the Bible. I got weird impression that what is described there could have been not just a rich imagination of the authors, but actually real events. If it was real, then there is no other reasonable explanation (in my opinion) other than influence of other, high advanced civilization. I just typed a phrase in google “was Jesus an ET” while waiting for the results I wondered if I get any, because I thought there is no other idiot who would have typed such a phrase in google. I got shocked when I actually got the results and I found Daniken. This is how everything started. I read his books and watch his channel it’s fascinating. Unfortunately recently I have very little time for myself.

    Art and crafts especially card making.

    Photography really enjoy taking photos of sunset, shimmer, food and flowers. 

    Trying to go back into journaling. Do you use stickers?

    Hi there!

    You said you were into aliens! Did you mean you were interested in EVERYTHING aliens, or specific kinds? I like aliens a whole lot, but I lean more towards liking the cartoon versions of aliens and plushies of them. 

    I like reading about Real aliens, too! However, I am very new to reading about them.

    My dad tells me he doesn't believe in aliens, but I have a harder time believing they DON'T exist because of how large the universe is! I mean-- by the time I'm finished typing this message out, the universe would've expanded even more!

  • Hi and welcome to the community! I also like sewing, it was my interest some time ago. I used to do it for dolls. I use sewing machine with a foam mat that isolates the machine from the table and additionally earplugs (I often use them in many situations) and then this noise is tolerable. Otherwise I would have lost control over myself. Currently I’m very much into aliens, write stories read Daniken (whenever I get time for that, with a toddler it’s hard). I hope you will find support and connection here.
