Hi to everyone who sees this (if anyone).
im more so using this as a space to discuss my interests rather than give away any personal things (I’ll save those for vents).
for the longest time I’ve loved horror movies (specifically saw, evil dead and re-animator) and try as I might I’ve never found a group of people who are willing to discuss the rich history of horror with me (hint hint I am very ready to discuss).
I also really love music but the old acid rock type stuff from the 60’s/70’s/80’s especially Fleetwood mac and David Bowie.
I love to write too and I write short horror stories often because I think it’s a very good skill to have if you can unsettle someone intensely in such a short period of time.
anyways I’ll stop rambling now. That was my introduction/ interest dump!
thank you for taking the time to read!
Mainly anything to do with horror but I love both reading and writing.
never let anyone shame you for that it’s a great interest to have!
Hi Laura, nice to meet you!
I used to be hugely in to watching horror movies and reading horror when I was in my teens, Stephen King and Anne Rice were my favourites, but for some reason I allowed others to shame me in to not reading them which I've recently realised and have started trying to get back in to it. Do you like reading horror or just writing it?
One of the greatest albums out there I think it’s safe to say all strife was worth it!
also evil dead 2 is one of my favourite horror movies ever you have great taste!
Welcome! I've been getting into horror a bit more recently after watching Evil Dead 2 and reading some of Stephen King's books. But I can't say I know too much about the genre.
I listened to a podcast recently about Fleetwood Mac and how they recorded Rumours, which was apparently pretty fraught with personal strife! Made for a good album, though.
Welcome
Welcome, here!
