Heyah -- how's it going?
I was only just diagnosed like last month a long wait 4 months and a half to be expect. Think covid slowed down the process. But I'm glad to know what's what now and why I'm like I am. I find it interesting very interesting and I'm still researching things like.
I don't get out much and have little social contact so I thought I'd give this community a try
Hi thanks for the big welcome. So happy to be here with you guys.
Ha ha oops my bad that was a typo! It was actually 4 and a half years!!! Hopefully yours will be soon. I hated the waiting.....
Thanks and no ha but I get asked that a lot. My mum called me Blossom after she commented to my dad that the flowers had lovely blossom and then she went into labour and decided that as she was talking about it just as it happened she would call me Blossom. My dad wholeheartedly agreed
Hi Dawn thanks for the warm welcome. It's nice to not be alone in this wild journey!
Very happy to be apart of this amazing club!
I hope your day is a stress free one Deb.I'm doing ok at the moment thanks.
Hi Blossom, big welcome to the community!
Wow, four and a half months is actually very quick. I've been waiting over 2 years on the NHS!
Welcome to the community. Is your name a Powerpuff reference by the way?
I had a stressful, but productive, day.
Hello Blossom and very welcome.
And yup! My reaction too was "so, now I know why I am". Shock at first, but you get used to it.
Congrats on your diagnosis and welcome to the best club in the world :-)
You are very welcome. Yes the autistic discovery journey is definitely long and you will probably feel a whole multitude of emotions including being nervous. Be kind to yourself though and don’t rush the process by bombarding yourself with too much information. ‘Thank you its been a long time coming but I'm glad to at last know’
Yes, I am happy for you, It must be validating to finally know that you are autistic. Give yourself as much time as you need to understand your own autistic identity.
We are here for you.
A bit stressed as I am in a very busy shopping centre in Portsmouth (Gunwharf Quays).
I must be masochistic.
How are you?
Thanks for the links. That's helpful. I feel it'll be a long journey but one I'm looking forward to. I'm nervous though but I guess it's to be expected
Thank you its been a long time coming but I'm glad to at last know
Thanks! Hope you're having a nice day
Thank you!
How are you today??
Welcome Blossom.
Hello, welcome to your autistic community. Congratulations on your recent autistic discovery!
We are here to help you process this discovery and hopefully have a good chat with you too. The process of understanding your own autistic identity is not linear, but this community is very helpful and supportive regardless of what stage you are at.
I hope you learn lots about your autistic profile from your fellow neurokin and enjoy this autistic space as much as I do!
You seem to want to learn lots more so hopefully this website and video will be of interest:

Look forward to chatting with you more.
Hello and welcome
Hi Helen and thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying being here. I've lurked for a bit and it seems a cool place to be.
Hi Blossom, I just joined a week ago and finding this community very pleasant
