Hello

Heyah -- how's it going?

I was only just diagnosed like last month a long wait 4 months and a half to be expect. Think covid slowed down the process. But I'm glad to know what's what now and why I'm like I am. I find it interesting very interesting and I'm still researching things like.

I don't get out much and have little social contact so I thought I'd give this community a try Blush

  • Hello, welcome to your autistic community. Congratulations on your recent autistic discovery!

We are here to help you process this discovery and hopefully have a good chat with you too. The process of understanding your own autistic identity is not linear,  but this community is very helpful and supportive regardless of what stage you are at.

I hope you learn lots about your autistic profile from your fellow neurokin and enjoy this autistic space as much as I do!

You seem to want to learn lots more so hopefully this website and video will be of interest:

Look forward to chatting with you more.

  • Thanks for the links. That's helpful. I feel it'll be a long journey but one I'm looking forward to. I'm nervous though but I guess it's to be expected

Thank you its been a long time coming but I'm glad to at last know

  • You are very welcome. Yes the autistic discovery journey is definitely long and you will probably feel a whole multitude of emotions including being nervous. Be kind to yourself though and don’t rush the process by bombarding yourself with too much information.

‘Thank you its been a long time coming but I'm glad to at last know’

Yes, I am happy for you, It must be validating to finally know that you are autistic. Give yourself as much time as you need to understand your own autistic identity.

    We are here for you.
