Hey,
I'm a 16-year-old girl who has a passion for all things Police and I would like to work/volunteer with people with learning disabilities. I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago and it's been a bit of a journey to accepting it. I love listening to loud music, talking to myself, and long car journeys. I would also like to learn Makaton.
I'd love to hear from other autistic people about their interests and experience of accepting their diagnosis.
I have recently been diagnosed and am pretty emotional about how much I now understand myself. My passion has always been the emergency services but my current one is emergency medicine.
