This is something the NAS should put in front of every MP every day.
I suggest you write to your MP and consider writing to the Media if your MP does nothing.
Autistic children and those with communication Problems should go to special schools, that used to be the norm as it was for my son 30+years ago.
Hi Maddie,
I just watched your video on youtube. I think it was really clear and gave a view of some of the issues young people face with this condition. I was diagnosed this year and didn't know why I couldn't fit in. It was by watching videos like yours that made me begin to understand what i've been going through. I'm much older now but wished i'd seen a video explaining the meltdowns and low self-esteem we have when I was in my teens. Best wishes on your future take care of yourself.
Thank you really enjoyed this Video, my son is 12 years old and he coped ok in primary but the minute he went to secondary everything changed, he couldn’t cope with the noise, moving around classes, he hasn’t been to school in 9 months but the psychologist said she don’t think he can go Mainstream, he is undiagnosed we have to wait 18 months, All while he is out of education.
but your video really helped you are so alike with your sensory, and he is the same when this happens it effects his whole day and at night he can’t sleep.
Thank you for taking your time to watch! I wasn’t gonna do any other videos but now I am reconsidering it from all the support I have got, once again thank you.
Hello Maddie,
Great first video! Valid and relevant experiences that plenty of us on here can relate to. I have thought about doing YouTube about my experiences.
Keep up the videos with advice based on your experiences, and feel free to ask any questions on here.
