What are your Hobbies ???

I have a compulsory drive to be creative I continually come up with new ways to make thing from jewellery to music, I love drawing and doodle anytime I have a pen in my hand (not good when I'm at work Smirk) I'm interested in what hobbies you all have and what you do to relax.

    Thank you. I see a lot of artists online doing what I do, not quite the same though. I am reverting to some Klimtian gold spirals on some small paper pieces now

  • It's sewing. I'm not good at it yet, but I'm doing my best. I hope one day I'll get my own small store. I buy some nice fabrics here https://tissura.com/. Are there any sewing fans? :) it would be great to chat!

  • I do art but I don't want it to be just a hobby. I do sell works. It started off as doodling though.........

    Otherwise watching flicks, especially horror and all things gothics well as SF. Same goes for books, I review books so get to read a lot for free.

    I know as the catalogues I got hold date back to 1975/76 and go all the way to the present and it is really intresting to see the changes in our purchasing habitits 

  • I like swimming. There's something about being immersed in warm water that I find really relaxing; also my ear plugs and goggles keep the rest of the world out and I can just be alone with my thoughts and breathing as the lengths tick by. Kind of meditative for me.

    I also really like jigsaws but find them dangerously addictive i.e. I really struggle to tear myself away to eat, sleep or go to work until it's finished.

    My profile picture I drew with a pyrography pen then coloured then edited the word on my phone.

    I never looked at it like that. It makes sense though. Sometimes I just have to doodle. It can be anything, but I just have to draw. I can be in the middle of something and will stop to do a quick doodle.

    Really then doodling is my favourite stim, 

    That's cheered me up abit, and nugget it nice to hear you have the same compulsive expression as me it makes me feel less alone.

  • I'm like you, I love being creative. My main thing is drawing. I love drawing so much and yes I also doodle when I shouldn't! I think it's related to anxiety. I find it soothes me so much. And I end up drawing some good stuff so win win. :D I also like playing video games.

    I've been wanting to learn an instrument for a while now. Thinking of ukulele as it's apparently easy and I've always liked the idea of it. ^^

  • I'm currently into databasing, which has covered a lot of intresting topics and time periods as my intrest changes. 

    I'm currently doing a database on Argos Catalogues and setting it out in a way you can see the price changes and the changes in our lifestyles and buying habitits. it a really fascenting database with a long term potential to keep going in the future once it is all created and done. so in 20 years from now we can see what has changed since then.
