Anger Issues

So, is it just me, or is everyone else having anger issues lately too?

I’ve realised that when I get angry or upset, I tend to freak out and become really overwhelmed by my emotions. I’m pretty sure this might have something to do with autism, even though I haven’t been officially diagnosed. I know that some autistic people struggle with emotional regulation, but I’m not 100% sure if that’s what’s happening with me.

I get upset really quickly, especially when someone attacks me personally or says something that hurts me. It’s even harder when it happens with my family, because I seem to get even more emotional, and afterwards, I end up feeling really guilty about how I reacted.

I don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but sometimes it feels like my emotions go from 0 to 100 in seconds, and it’s so hard to calm myself down once I’m upset.

Does anyone else feel this way or struggle with something similar? I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences and knowing I’m not alone in this. Heart️ Thanks!

  • Could be meltdowns... People assume meltdowns are about nothing and that's not ebtlirlet true they can result to vocal anger about the thing that was the final cause but the main thing that's a meltdown indicator is that fixing that problem doent end the meltdown yes it may shift away from anger and maybe even slowly become a *** down but you don't just go og hey I'm a ok now

  • Yeah i have had that anger problem ever since i was like god.... 11? i think? and its a bad thing. its over stupid stuff or sometimes more serios Like my mental health and or Mental Issues i know i might have. I have been told a lot i over fixate On trying to get Dignosed with OCD,ADHD,Autism and BPD and normally told to stop but that gets me annoyed and upset as i have always wanted to try and figure out my mental issues to get the Correct meds or even how to deal with it in a day to day life.

  • Who tells you to stop? And if it's a gp thinking your fixatibg on too much just look then all up see if your sympto s fall in any overlap abd if they do just describe your symptoms but if they seem to say you may have all of them ask for one diagnosis at a time and the practionairr diagnosing you may even referer you further

  • Yeah i mean, i went today to change my Depression Meds and asked him about my concerns On my Simptoms and the doctor i saw is amazing, hes seen me probably like 40 odd times and hes honestly the best. He told me that all of us have some simptoms of something but i told him its a lot diffrent for me. i know i have OCD i over fixate and get mad when im told to stop or get upset. Thats OCD simptoms and i did a Screening test on NHS website and other trusted Websites and it says i have all 4. OCDis highly Likely, Autism is Highly Likely, BPD is a 100% and ADHD is a half and half.

when i told him i think i have them all he was a bit suprised as even he said " so you think you have all of them?" and i just looked at him dead in his eyes and said yes. but again he gave me advice on what to do, which was to fill a Document Form of all Simptoms i think i have or have Noticed diffrent in my Behavior and send it Over to the GP Health care Center Via email and mention Himself saying he requested it.
