What sleeping position do you favour? I’m a skydiver and something similar to an elongated shooting star, with one arm straight up or elbow bent with my arm curled over my head. More recently, I sometimes wake up in the recovery position.

actually that would make more sensce
Hah yes we are a similar pair! Although midriff during sleep sounds like a sleeping king after battle (if your hands are central)
kind of like me then i been told its like a roman soldier clutching his sword as he protects during sleep
I sleep like a vampire… sort of similar to soldier but hands clasped on my midriff haha
Hopefully you’re sleeping better more recently…. If you’re in the UK the cold weather tends to help. If you’re a sensitive , generous person I can understand you’re sleeping difficulties it tends to affect people more who have a lot of empathy
i tent to sleep in most of those , it kinda drpends how restless i get and if i can sleep at all
I’m not a person who could sleep with a weighted blanket. I have always hated heavy bed clothes and as a child in the days before we had duvets, I used to make a mess of my bed by working the bedclothes off during the night.
I recall that other people in our community have found weighted blankets useful, although I don’t remember anyone specifying the weight.
How many of you have those weighted blankets. If you do have them, how much weight? I've thought of getting one and seeing if it improves my sleep.
On my front, arms by my sides. On my side, like the Log picture. On my side like the Recovery picture. Never on my back as I sometimes get apnea and choke
Oh when I can't sleep I'm like that, I keep turning to see if it helps.
Multiple of the above throughout trying to get to sleep every night (with some preference on ones like log, baby, and recovery position) I saw someone describe this sleeping position pattern as "rotisserie chicken" sleeper because you turn around and around in bed like a rotisserie chicken, lol! So I've always called my sleeping position "rotisserie chicken sleeper" after that.
I like to begin by sleeping with my head facing the ceiling in a straight position. I relax in this position until I feel sleepy. Then I like to sleep sideways and hug my pillow. I like the feeling of warmth, and the feeling of something soft against my skin whilst I rest.
Baby, but with a pillow between my legs
Either curled up in a ball, or with my body curled and my legs stuck out.
Recovery position but with a pillow under the bent leg, and a large cuddly toy squashed against my body and a small one on my face. Wake up in the same position
Most likely a sky diver for me! Terrible for the back though.
