Hello.
I think you can split things onto 2:
The things you sometimes find hard are quite instructive. As you get more overloaded and/or closer to burnout, if you are chronically stressed, does things get harder to do. Your capacity goes down. This is a sign you are pushing too hard and need to back off.
Things you always find hard you just need to find workarounds, alternatives, stop doing them, outsource them, etc.
The biggest things are to not feel guilty for leaving things and relaxing a bit. Closing your eyes, and lying down if practical, really helps. Breathing exercises too, deep inhales and slow breaths out. Try to be sleep properly and have a routine.
Pay attention to your body. You may have learnt to ignore when you are stressed because it always felt like that. But push you your shoulders down and try to relax, breathe from you diaphragm, not just your chest, note when you get the knot behind you sternum or in your rob cage, when your hands are sweaty, when your heart beats harder or faster (you may feel it in your throat). These give you clues about what is causing you stress. You can then see about how to reduce or manage it.
It takes time to learn and adapt. But the little things add up.
Do you have any things in particular?
I think this is very helpful Solo - I also find walking in nature very therapeutic too - I think of all my coping strategies for anxiety that’s one of the most effective ones for me. I don’t have any bonsai but I like succulents and enjoy having them on my windowsill. When they flower the flowers are so beautiful and unusual. I only have a small garden but I do like looking after herbs and using them in my cooking. I love the plant Erigeron because if keeps on flowering for many months - even now it has flowers on it.
Hi, I like to walk surrounded by a lot of nature to clear my mind about stuff that is bothering me sometimes. I am not sure whether this will help, but for me it relieves a lot of bad energy. I was also diagnosed very recently on the 19th of November, 2025. I didn’t find it surprising, and it helped me a lot by providing a unique sense of clarity for my brain. I find that when I focus on something of importance such as my bonsai, it helps me keep my mind sharp. I also recently starting playing sudoku which I find fun and engaging. I am not always very great at helping others, so I apologise if this wasn’t very informative or useful, but I thought i’d share some stuff that helps me when I struggle to keep my own mind sharp like I want sometimes. Thanks for listening.
