As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?
1. My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.
2. I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.
3. Home and having a curry tonight

I find myself back here......again.....and wish to cleanse and flush with some positivity and connectivity
1. Observational acuity = thanks autism.
2. Profound principles = thanks autism.
3. Still having fingers and an off-switch = thanks "hands"!!!
This year, the local sweet corn looks a pretty poor show. Even that likely destined for fodder looks very behind schedule.
All the fields round me are done, were done a few weeks ago. Wheat seems to have done better than I expected.
Only field I noticed that's still going has sweet corn.
1. A good cooked breakfast at home (a once a week treat).
2. Harvested the homegrown Damsons (bumper crop this year - from one small tree - about 12.5 lb / 5.6 kg).
3. This afternoon, I can hear combine harvesters busy in the local fields (therefore, worth spending some extra time in the garden - as different wild birds may take refuge there for a few hours - I have put out a pan of water in case that proves to be so).
Saved the day of buying quiche and two big pots of yoghurt
Used the new shower for the first time.
Sunshine

I've needed to "dig deep" to find these in my crowded mind at this moment....but it is a worthy endeavour to direct one's focus on good things....to share...
1. The simple, reliable, longstanding and consistent positivity and connectivity that this thread has always provided. ( Cheers Desmond)

It’s good that they have had so many different roles available in the past, but I don’t expect many local roles will be advertised in my area, at least going by the few times I have checked.
Great that this is your new special interest. I am not quite there with you, but I would be delighted if it should become so.
I am going to set a reminder to check the roles advertised regularly. Perhaps, with the start of the academic year coming up, more roles will be available.
Yes, a notification feature would be beneficial. In the meantime I am going to do a ‘mock response’ to suitable roles that may come up, with a view to avoiding potential last minute stress.
Good luck Mrs Snooks!
Yes, that's what I was hoping for myself too. Hope you find something. I have signed up for the newsletter for 'interested in volunteering' and will keep on checking for advertised roles. I had hoped they might have a notifications feature on the site, so that it would eamail me with local options, when they come up. But I can keep checking as part of my new 'special interest'.
Quiche is off limits for me. The only school trip I ever went on and a mix of the most horrible teacher ever topped off with her forcing me to eat quiche resulted in me never going on a trip again.
Love the smell of it when it’s bubbling away in the oven but just can’t bring myself to go back there.
