3 Good Things (again)

As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?

1.  My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.

2.  I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.

  • That’s fantastic and earl grey tea is delicious. How is the ND group therapy going to go in January? What is planned

  • Hello  ! It will start in February, just re-checked it. So the place with specilised ND therapist put together different tematics. Basically these are an 8-session closed therapy group that offers practical tools to reduce anxiety and improve emotional regulation.

Here is the base of one goup: (chatgpt translated it for me from Hungarian) Let me know what you think if you have time!!!!!

The aim of the group is to explore the root causes of anxiety and help you learn concrete, practical stress-management strategies:

    • The anxiety cycle: Understanding how negative thoughts and avoidance (so-called safety behaviors) keep anxiety going.
    • Cognitive restructuring: Identifying and challenging catastrophic thoughts, and turning the harsh inner critic into a more supportive inner voice.
    • Exposure exercises (internal and external): Gradually facing anxiety-triggering situations within a safe group setting, so your brain can relearn what is and isn’t actually dangerous.
    • Releasing physical tension: Learning muscle relaxation and breathing techniques to manage panic and intense anxiety.
    • Self-acceptance and handling criticism: Learning to tolerate mistakes and feedback without your self-esteem immediately taking a hit.

    Handshake Benefits of the group

    • Validation and normalization: Seeing that others struggle in similar ways reduces isolation and shame.
    • Hands-on practice: The group works as a live practice space where you can safely try new social behaviors and get honest feedback.
    • A safe environment: Together with the group and a professional facilitator, we build the trust needed so you don’t have to carry anxiety alone.

    What we offer

A mental overload–free zone: finally calming the constant mental “fireworks.”

    • An end to endless “what if…” spirals: learning how to shut down the inner catastrophe squad.
    • A user manual for yourself: practical tips so you stop being a victim of your own alarm system.
    • A practice ground: because the best antidote to social anxiety is real social practice.
  • I see, I got it now better, thanks, with disagreements I adore staying realistic too
