I have ADHD but literally until now reading your post I never heard of this. Just made me think of that Johnny Cash song-lmao.
I Googled it and looked at the links Bunny posted and it’s not an official thing it seems, there’s no science behind it, so I guess it’s down to the peeps whether they think its a real thing or not. I don't think it's something I have but could be wrong I don't really know much about my ADHD that's why I'm waiting for professional expertise with it.
You could always ask your gp and see their views on it?
It's worth keeping in mind that Dr Amen's various proposed subtypes of ADHD - including "ring of fire" - aren't currently recognised in the diagnostic manuals, with Healthline stating that they need to be researched further:
