Some community members are currently unable to post

I think it terrible that so many people are still having problems, I can't believe that people are still unable to access thier accounts etc. This much promised and awaited new forum has been a disaster, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think NAS should ask for thier money back from whoever designed site and failed to test it properly before it went live. I know NAS is a charity and not a particularly rich one, but that shouldn't be an excuse for poor service either from them or to them.

Yes, the mods do keep on releasing people from purgatory but unfortunately, the destination afterwards isn't heaven, as they then keep being sent back.

I'm sorry to hear that. Emailing the community manager is what immediately preceded things suddenly working for me yesterday, and it didn't feel coincidental. So maybe worth a shot if they haven't done so already and can see this!

Thanks but this is meaningless though when in the context of the total absence of rule violations ie it's just constant error on the part of the filters.

Mark said 'banned' to me but I decided to remove the word as it might be a stress trigger for other members.

I think it needs a lot more than a 'tweak'.

I've been personally experiencing these issues for 2+ years, including being completely unable to log into my ID for months.

I created other IDs as once I was 'spammed' I was completely unable to post, throughout my time here.

Just to avoid any confusion (in particular because this thread's title previously said "banned"), here are the potential states that our accounts can be placed in:

"Repeated rule violations may result in:

• placing your account under pre-moderation – meaning your posts and comments are reviewed by a moderator before they are published
• suspension of your account
• a permanent ban from the Online Community."

At the moment, a lot of us seem to be wrongly getting placed under pre-moderation. Hopefully, the NAS team will tweak the settings to find a better balance.
