Hi,
I'm lucky enough to have a neurodivergence network where I work. One of my ND colleagues, posted this in the chat which I love and I thought I'd share:
"During my search on the internet about autism I came across different words for autism around the world.
In Maori they call it 'Takiwātanga'
And it means 'in their own time and space'.
And they call autistic people 'Taonga Takiwātanga'; someone 'gifted with doing things in their own time and space'.
I think it is a powerful way of describing. And I like it.
And wanted to share this"
Thanks.
OUTSTANDING !
I absolutely love this!
Thank you very much for sharing it.
That is lovely FelipeAz! Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us!
